CONSERVATION MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR LAST BRITISH SIDEWINDER TRAWLER
HUMBERSIDE, UK

KDC London was commissioned by Hull City Council Museum Services to advise on future strategies for Arctic Corsair, the last survivor of Hull’s massive Sidewinder trawling fleet.

We were proud to assist with a detailed Conservation Management and Maintenance Report setting out the future for the vessel’s conservation management.

The document also acts as a stand alone analysis forming the basis of a programme and policy for regular use by Stand, Arctic Corsair’s volunteer maintenance team.

Built in Beverley in 1960 for the Boyd Line, Arctic Corsair broke the world record in 1973 for cod and haddock landed from the White Sea.
